If you hadnt noticed, tx hatch/jkan/crucial have all been to the track before and im guessing have ran many of times. You post your times and ask what could be wrong. Seeing as how they have "raced at a track before", they would know exactly what they're talking about and could give advice to someone like yourself, ESPECIALLY when you even stated that it was your FIRST time at the track.

Everyone can learn something from the next person, thats the point of a public forum, to help out. Learn to open your ears and not be so defensive.

I had the same problem at the track in my less powerful 99 si. I just lowered the tire pressure alot and kinda feathered out the clutch. if you just hold it at 3500 rpm's and drop it, it is going to spin, unless you have slicks. If you do decide to get slicks you can easliy drop it from 5-6 grand and be ok, but watch out for snapping half shafts. so next time out try that and maybe that will work for you, it works for me.

well im thinking you were just sidestepping or dumping the clutch, you just need to feather it more to prevent the tires from slipping, i learned that after my shitty 3nd run (15.6) earlyer this year, o and buy azenis i pulled a 14.9 my first run ever

come on mang, don't get so offended from people's tone on here. yes, it might be rude but who cares, feel flattered that people even respond with ideas. take it in stride.

when i had my LS motor in an EK, i got crappy 2.5 60' times with stocks hitting 15.5-6's all day without deflating tire pressure. with some practice, i got that down to not as crappy 2.3 with 15.4's. all about practice my friend.

i was just very consistent everytime i ran, making sure i knew what rpm i was at and how i released the clutch. good luck

actually it was still my fastest time to date, but it really doesnt count. i redlined 3rd at 92mph when i crossed, if i had the clutch grabbing i would of been in forth gear, pulling upper 95mph times, easy. have to wait and find out, i might just go without the intercooler on...just to get new times. im hoping for a low 14 sec pass or under.

that all i had to say because jkan replied like 7 times before anyone else did.

anyway, thanx for some of the info guys. im not so sure how much it may be really hurting my times, but my intake has the WORST filters ive ever seen, its turned black because its so old. i ordered an intake last week on overnight shipping, and its still not here. also it was about 90 degrees that day. and i have a check engine light from the 02 senser and idle air control. im not so sure how much any of those thigns hurt me, but i figured id state them.

i am going up again on thur so hopefully it will be cooler, maybe my intake actually will come in, and ill try lowering my tire presure. if i get some better times, ill try posting them up. keep it coming guys.

just noticed its signed on the wrong name, but this is huviduc
