make sure your getting your lugs torqued to spec (80 lbs?). I think that will definitly cause problems.

Also, if you caliper isn't retracting your pad entirely, and the pad is dragging, that might cause the problem.

Just tossing out ideas...

In my experience though, no one breaks out the torque wrench to torque lugs to spec, and that causes problems.

well check the rims if you were getting a vibrations for a long time and you didnt do anythingabout it you could have messed up the whole spindel and if so you might need to replace it.if it only started when you installed the rims it could be that the rim is bent or did not come round it" happen" from factory and that is causing the problem try rotating your rims and see if it still doing it, if its not just change lugs and bults the best lugs are the factory one those aftermarket ones strip easy.......................

it could still be your alignment. if i'm not mistaken, when you've had your tires unbalnced for a while it can screw with your alignment. it happened to mine and i have stock wheels.

if you do a good job of centering the wheels with the lugs, you might not need the rings sometimes. but i highly reccomend them on your front wheels to eliminate any possibility of vibration.

This gonna sounds nuts, but could be the problem. The tire might be out of round. My buddy had a wheel balanced 4 times, and it still shook like a biotch. Yes, it was balanced, but the tire being out of round was making it shake. Jack up the front of the car, start it up, and SLOWLY let out the clutch so just the one side starts to spin. (I'm not to blame if you get hurt, or kill someone!) I've done it quite a few times just to check things with no problems. Anyway, with the wheel spinning, you would be able to see any motion up and down, or side to side.

Yeah,
Lots of suggestions, thanks to all. This morning I decided to swap the rear to front to be sure that it is the wheel. And guess what? No more vibration! It has to be the rim! I'll tell them to rebalance it and if that doesn't work, I'll tell them to get me another rim. I may be out of round

Thanks HAN
