Default Here we go again

Ok, this is the 3rd time I am asking. Just need more opinions. Short version. Put on new rims, vibrates over 60mph. They stripped one stud and ran on 3 out of 4 lugs. Virbration gone. Replaced stud and now have all 4 lugs. Vibration back over 60mph.
I went to a Goodyear and explained the situation. They said that it could be either a bad rim or the centering ring is bad. They said somehow, the wheel probabley isn't sitting right. Since the vibration went away when I had 3 out of 4 lugs.
Called the shop who put on the rims and told them what the 2nd opinion said. He said we'll try a new centering ring and if that doesn't work, he'll order me a new rim.

What do you guys/ girls think?

I just need some opinions or other questions I should be asking the shop who did the work.

Thanks for responding!

it probably is, but if they fixed that already i was going to say it might be the tires if he didn't fix the problem quick enough. i doubt its the rims themselves.

Wheel or you need hubcentric rings to better balance the wheels on the hub. Do a search on vibrates or shakes and you'll get some returns on this subject. It's been covered before and there are more details regarding the possible problems and solutions.

theoretically, could the 3 bolts out of 4 holding the rim make it so its not completely bolted down, thus the vibrations are not transfering?
does this make sense?

I had the same problem, turns out my wheel was out of balance. I would take it to another place and get it balanced, since these guys don't seem to know what they are doing...

Doing it shake over 60 and as you are coming to a stop as well? Mine did...
