When I had a CF hood I always used pins.

ive personally had a hood come up on me while i was on the freeway,...trust me,...use the hood pins,..thank me later

I just put Hood Pins in for a guy that was too scared to put him in himself..... and because he delayed putting them in.... on the highway his hood flipped up and smashed his windsheild... and cracked his hood pretty good.

Just take your time drilling and adjusting the pins.... its not very hard to do... just takes allot of time if you have never done it before!

Good Luck!

Ok. I've been talked into going ahead with the hood pins.

Should I drill the holes while the hood is latched in place or should I take it off? It seems like it would be easier to line everything up by doing it while its shut.

i drill from teh bottom, no problems, i think drillin from the top relyin on sight is a bad idea. do it from the bottom. i done 2 hoods like this and no problems.
