I'm probably throwing codes up the ass:thumbup: Anyhow I believe I figured out what it was. One of the sensors on teh passenger side block was hooked up incoorectly. The vtec sensor plug was plugged into the side of the head and vice versus (they look the exact same). So now I can rev all the way up. BUT.... I just found out I need to buy a usdm solinoid housing since I'm using a usdm obd1 ecu. Its looking for that sensor and I don't have it Another 200 bucks OR I have to drill and tap mine!!! **** that! In other words vtec isn't kickin in....

Now I need to do 1 of 2 things in order to get my vtec workin. I either need to swap my usdm obd1 p72 ecu for a jdm one. Or purchase the vtec sloenoid housing(269.00) for a USDM b18c motor 96-98. If someone can help me find this part I will be forever grateful

I'd give you mine.. but, I'm using it right now.

I'm sure a junk yard would have one wouldn't they? Someone's gotta have a blown motor somewhere. Check Ebay too.

edit: Just thought of this. Email Sohfast at questions@sohfast.com I'll bet money they have one.

edited my last message.

Check your throttle cable. Make sure you don't have it pulled too tight at the TB.
