I can tell you they are very good in a gsr. Haha Spooncivicb16b helped me put my Skunk2 stage 1's in my gsr and now he's jealous :naughty: :naughty: :naughty: Vtec sounds great and it pulls so much harder now, I can only imagine what an Si motor would sound like with these cams and I'm sure the power gain will be just as great.

Skunk2 stage 1s are actually much better in a B16 than in a B18. They really like the stroke of the 1.6.

You can get ~200 whp with the stage 1s and bolt ons..

ya, bolt on turbo kit.

200hp at the fly is way more believeable than 200whp.
with only stage 1s i dont think so.

if you have a b16 with i/h/e, ignition, wires, cap, fuel rail, skunk cams, adj. gears, intake mani, TB, vafc.

most likely at the wheels 175-180whp at the most.

we put a set in my friend b18c.

good response, but the gsr manifold was starving the cams. when we put the skunk2 manifold and the 70 mm tb it really complemented the cams. pulled very had from 5800+

we are using a chipped p28 with the jun program. great pull up to redline and past it.

jdm 4-1 header and 2.5" back till the muffler.

stock exhaust and intake will starve the cams.

And that's with DC 4-2-1 :barf: and a homemade intake.

Yea I have the Skunk2 IM and B&M FPR to bump up the fuel flow and Skunk2 cam gears set to the settings that Skunk2 says is best to run with their cams and I feel no starvation here. I had everything on but the FPR a week ago and I felt like there was a slight lag in the high rpms. After the FPR bumped up the psi, it now pulls hard all the way to redline with no lagging what so ever. I can't wait to go to the strip and find out how much power I really got and how much it takes off my ET. Oh and would a bigger TB give me much more power at all? or is it not enough to worry about? Bumnah, did your friend notice a diff. at all with the bigger TB over stock at all? Or was everything put in at once and there wouldn't be a way to be able to tell what power it gave? Thanks

We put the cams in one weekend, and the next weekend we did the skunk2 manifold, 70 mm tb, and the aem itr intake.

we had a lot of lag when vtec crossed over at 4400 rpms. but when the new intake manifold went on we put the chipped p28 in also. it pulled much better with the manifold and tb.

throttle response is amazing. just blip the throttle and it flies up.

so no we couldn't tell how much difference the tb made alone.
