Believe me, I KNOW that the new LX and DX are 115 hp and they have a D17A1...what was the power on the 97 Civic HX (D16Y5)?

well somethimes in the magazines/ internet /ebay they just list them for civics and not sols, so if i want one with the engine thats like mine it should fit. i just need to know which civic was it hx, lx, etc

I actually don't know anything about the Civic HX engine...it's high-efficiency tuned for low gas consumtion, and it may or may not be a VTEC, I really don't know.

What you would want would be an intake for the 96-2000 Civic DX/LX series.
