I think he meant that he put 13K miles on the car not $13K into the car :dunno:

The SE-R's will hang with a 99-00 SI stock for stock, I have seen it. Obviously the Maximas and Altimas are faster because their engine is much more powerful.

yeah i don't think this is even a debate. Spec V is better by light years, the 2.5L motor has hella torque and the top end would rape the new SI. I think the new SI is quite possibly one of the most disappointing civics ever.

I would love to own a CTR, but it will probably get dropped into a sportscar class for insurance, which would rape me.

Is CTR really coming here? Does that mean the ITR will be here? If so, what will they call it? RSX type R?

I haven't heard anything about the ITR and I seriously doubt it would come here for now. However, I've heard from magazines and honda salesmen that Honda's planning on bringing the CTR here in the fall or early spring.

The CTR was supposed to come out soon. Don't waste money of the Si. The Si still falls under sports car insurance. Just get CTR. They are worth the money.

Actually, I don't know if that's true. I checked with my insurance company, and insurance for the RSX-S is almost double the insurance for a civic si. I'm sure the Type R would fall under sports car insurance, though.
