It's really easy to do. Let us know what you find out. I'm interested.
And people can flame me if they want but I'm going to clarify something. With VTEC-E, at low RPM, one intake valve has normal lift and one opens only slightly. At high RPM, both intake valves will have normal lift.

I will put and end to all of the useless bull**** that is being posted here.
First off, it's a 97' so why bother jumping the connector when he can drive to Autozone or someplace and have them plug a diagnostic tool into the OBD-II plug and tell you what code it's throwing. they do this for free in case you don't know.

Your 99% full of ****. Don't post if you don't know what the **** you are talking about okay newbie. Not all VTEC equiped cars say VTEC on the valve cover. Nothing pisses me off more than people who post misinformation.

WAIT.. i can.. i can jump the wires and look it up in the chiltons(this book IS good for something lol)... and then know exactly what it is without that " auto zone", that you will NOT find at 2 am on the expressway..)
