Why do you think the B20 is hard to maintain? If my dumbsh*t aunt can keep the B20Z in her CR-V running, any idiot can. It is virtually identical, except for bore size and some other pidly crap, to the B18A/B line. Don't rag on an engine you don't know.

Pssh, you could get a b18 sleeved out to 2L with aftermarket pistons for that.

1) Yes, the B18C1 is a great motor.
2) You know nothing about the H22A swap. If there's something I don't know, tell me why it's BS. Elaborate on that issue.
3) B20 hard to maintain? I don't know what you guys do to B20s over there, but maintaining it is just like any other motor.

Personally I think the B20 would be the best in terms of value. It's torquey, and fits in Civics without any major modification.

The H22 is BS because there's alot of Bull Shit involved. You have to worry about the EGR (not a big deal if you have the VX), motor mount kit, wiring harness, different axles, ecu can be a bitch if you have a 97+ with the immobilizer, the ATTS will cause you to throw codes that has nothing to do with the car. It's just a pain in the ass when compared to say a B Series swap. Then again the H22 is designed for another car/chassis.

That's why you source other, early parts. Why would you even try to use ATTS parts in a Civic swap? That's just asking for trouble.

The shifter is still a bitch thought.
