task of removing the stereo
Just an FYI - If you want to take out your stock radio/Cd player - it is not as simple as it seems. You are gonna have to basically take apart the whole dash board.
...but I did it, and a new head unit is in - back in love with my civic.

So I'm gonna install a new head unit in my sister's '97 EX coupe, what's the best way to get everything apart that needs to be removed? I could write a how two on this for del Sols, but Civics are another story...
Anyone help me?

depends how do u want to do ur system. if u want to do it right.. take off the dash... door panels... seats .. doorsils... basically everythign interior. u want to run ur wires underneath ur carpets and make it look good. my passenger seat has been out of my car for so long.. same with my storage bins... just no time lately.
Ok, all I'm doing is installing a head unit. She doesn't need anything more than the stock speakers. I got the lower dash panels off, now how do I go about removing the stock HU?
