way to go...tard...
LMFAO!

Yeah...I have the same isssue with my stock CX HB...I was thinkin probably some underbody coating, new tires (made a HUGE difference on my Prelude), and if neither of those work, then I'll get some of that roofing stuff, or a Dyna-mat knock-off of some sort. Let me know if you try anything that works really well!

I know how you feel!! its freakin loud inside my car to when going over rough roads on the freeway.

What really pisses me off is the squeaky interior panels. :madfawk: the rear panels are wedged with paper.

Has anyone else tried Peel and Seal? It's a water proofing and heat reflective material for roofing. But it doesn't say anything about sound deadening.

I have been working on this for a long time. I have a 96 civic. what I did first was go to my local auto parts store and bought some spray on bedliner ( designed for trucks but very good a sound deadening). I took off my door panels and sprayed that on the backside of the actual plastic panels. I also put that on the backside of my plastic peice in the rear window to help stop speaker rattle. Then I stripped my interior and sprayed that all along the floor under the carpet, then reinstalled everything. It cost me about $10 total (2 cans) and helped a lot. Next on my list is some actuall sound dampening material inside the doors, and some more spray on bedliner in the wheel wells.

but so far it is working really good.

Any idea how much that spray on bedliner weighs? Spray on liners out of a can can't be better at sound deadening than actual liners.

I'm don't know, It probably isn't. I thought they were the same thing pretty much. The can weighed no more than 2 lbs, so it is very light.

I really didn't help out with sound deadening for me as much as it helped to reduce rattle. It made the panel a lot more solid and my door is way more solid when I slam it.

about 3/4 of a can per door. It worked pretty good I thought.
