it is however thick you spray it on. I bet it was around 1/8" though.

Yeah, I did in my CX hatch this weekend. It helps a bit. I just did it on the rear floor area, not inside the doors or anything. It seems to make a big difference below 60mph, but above that it's still loud as hell. Highway speeds are just this constant howling. It sucks. I also pulled off the rear interior panels and sprayed the metal behind them with underbody coating.

:chuckles: Anger management. Didn't mean it as an insult, but I guess lack of confidence has led some to think otherwise.

Oh and "their" should be "there". But it's ok since I'm the tard :fawk:

Did you spray any on the wheel wells? Seems like that's where most of the noise would come from. And do you notice any weird smells?

Yes and yes. Sprayed on the interior side of the wheel wells for now, because I wasn't able to wash the road salt off of the outside, which I will do later. If you use it, make sure you're in a *very* well ventil;ated area, and don't smoke. That stuff makes some pretty potent fumes.

I've tried the roofing crap and although it worked it was the hardest piece of crap to work with. I had to heat it to death with a heat gun before it would get soft enough to stick and even then it was hard to stick. Don't do it. It's hard and its got little rocks in it. Think of really big sand paper. Even though it helped, it didn't help that much and certainly not worth the hard work trying to put it in. Spend the extra money and get a quality product. I'm not going to cheap out any more.
