I'm don't know, It probably isn't. I thought they were the same thing pretty much. The can weighed no more than 2 lbs, so it is very light.

I really didn't help out with sound deadening for me as much as it helped to reduce rattle. It made the panel a lot more solid and my door is way more solid when I slam it.
