TX Hatch-- SWEET! That's what I'm going to to: LS/Turbo. So I could run 10-12 psi (with Hondata) on stock internals? Can I use a T4 turbo and get around 280 whp?

I'm stoked now! Now all I need is the rest of the $$.

Spike

BTW, how much does Hondata run?

Use a t3/t04, which comes with most kits. I suggest the rev hard kit.

Hondata is about $500 for the new s200, and then you have to take it somewhere or to someone that has the equipment to install and tune.

If you want to save money get the Ls engine, don't go Vtec just turbo. The Ls is better for turbo because of the lower compression, I believe its like 9.5:1 (don't quote me), and it also has more low-end torque. A GSR has more stock hp, but also costs more and has higher compression meaning it won't respond to turbo as well, although it is still capable of gobs of power.

I got quoted for 795 for the LS motor alone. I didn't get to ask about milage and what not. I just wanted a ball park figure on the motor. Is that a good price?

Just the longblock or an entire swap? That seems pricey for a longblock.
