good time...when i sprayed a 55 i couldn't break 9.9 but i had a really bad slipping clutch. I trapped about 74 with a 2.21-2.23 60 foot. It's nice beating up on some type R's and them wondering what you have on your lowly civic

yes actually it is...but it was due to the fact everytime i made a pass i could smell my clutch for 5-10 minutes and it probably held 60-70% of the power it should have. When i went to 5.5 psi i got a new clutch but still trapped about the same times, but with some traction and my clutch actually grabbing it went from a 9.9 to a 9.4X (still 5.5 psi) Gotta go run it at 10-12 intercooled on race gas and DR's. Besides you'll never see any mid 9s anyways h:

funny how you talk **** about me putting down numbers i haven't proven yet, you're making sh*t up about numbers for a car YOU DONT EVEN OWN

btw if you think it's easy to just nail 1.8 60 foots in a light ass 2000 pound CRX you got something else coming to ya...it's called a lesson in TRACTION

it seems to me that the track you go to is a learning school, seems like no one can drive.

my bad...but when most ppl say rex especially on a honda board they mean CRX. A WRX is a scooby and they still have sucky topend and are usless except from a dead stop. I still eat em alive from any mph punches

tracks are usually places for practice...especially if you haven't driven at a track before. You could be the best street racer but when you hit the track it's a different story. Not everyone is born with the ability to hit a 2.5 60 foot like you h:

also that celica mentioned is probably hard to launch with that much power, it's hard not to spin/wheel hop with instant torque.
