also that celica mentioned is probably hard to launch with that much power, it's hard not to spin/wheel hop with instant torque.
i pulled a 2.41 on my first day at the track. and yes it is different. i was going to go again to see my better launches with the new clutch, but my tranny isnt hold up so i gotta get a new tranny. second gear has gone to shiit after the clutch install...

yah well you don't launch with 2nd hear...i hope

you could probably still go see what your 60 foots are like with a new clutch, i knew it helped me out a ton but then again if you aren't pushing enough whp for your clutch to slip it might not help you as much.

Sucks when you take your tranny out to do a clutch and then a while later you have to do it all again. I was kind of the opposite, i blew a tranny put a new one in and a few months later i had to take it out to put a new clutch in....sucks

take your 1/8 mile time and multiply it by 1.56 if you have not so great top end or 1.55 if you have good top end

I don't like 1/8 mile times ... they don't compute with my internal database of quarter mile times

second gear was pefectly fine when we dropped the tranny, then after i broke it in, i slammed it into second, and after that it will go in about 50% of the time if not less....

my friend knows someone that is selling an si motor/tranny. so i think im going to lowball him and give him like $300 for all of it. i oculd use the head, and get rid of my floating valve.

my clutch was really bad, and when i went to the track, my slave also went bad, so my hydrolic like wasnt holding any pressure...
