You probably have a stripped gear on the regulator. If you pull the window up a bit while someone is pressing the switch, the window will catch and go all the way up. If that happens, you need a regulator. It's easy to replace...take your time and look at where each part goes. Chilton's or Helm's is your friend.

 

Also, you'll have to cut through the protective plastic film in some spots to get access to the regulator. Use lots of duct tape to reseal the plastic.

 

and u run a high 15 but most likely a low 16.

Yeah, it probably does. When the window stops going up, does it just make a knocking noise while vibrating up and down? If so, replace your regulator. They cost about $75. A regulator is probably about $15-$20 cheaper online (like ahmotor.com or hparts.com) than the dealer. If you're mechanically inclined and have help, you can replace the whole thing in a couple of hours.
