I agree when I saw 30-40hp from a Meziere pump I almost spit my coffee out. Most hp you will gain is about 1-7 hp at most. Not even a butt dyno will feel that. Not worth it unless you are building a full out race car.

No offense but before you start spewing out numbers and advice, jrgoswick, I would suggest you research before it's forever etched in the internet. Once you post something here there's no going back. Plus some of us have been here since the beginning of Honda-Acura.net. Most of us know our stuff in and around Hondas.

Settle down, buddy Civic2Scooby is a very knowledgeable contributing member to this forum. Show some humility and we'll be a wealth of information for you. This is the internet, not everyone is polite. BTW, answering "WRONG!" to someone offering good information isn't exactly polite either

Now that that's out of the way... there aren't any simple power mods that go hand in hand with a timing belt change. Like A-series said, if you were doing headwork (camshaft, adjustable cam gear, valvetrain) it might save you a little on labor to do both at the same time (the t-belt has to be removed or at least shoved out of the way to do that stuff). In the end, probably not worth the cost.

And while I'm on the topic, do not replace the timing belt "over the summer some time." Do it now. You're 40k miles over the service limit of the timing belt. If it breaks, you'll be sorry

With all that was said-I APOLOGIZE. Yes, I spit bad info. I also admitted it was bad info. I'll practice a little tact now on.

Yeah in the end you will save yourself some money and time. If you don't it's like sitting on a ticking time bomb. Once the timing belt snaps you can say byebye to the engine. New ones cost $600 or spend the $50 now for a new one while everything is apart.

Small price to pay for peace of mind.

Just do the belt, water pump, tensioner, cam seal, and valve adjustment.. and and save yourself some money for the next time you need some routine maintenance.
