Yeah in the end you will save yourself some money and time. If you don't it's like sitting on a ticking time bomb. Once the timing belt snaps you can say byebye to the engine. New ones cost $600 or spend the $50 now for a new one while everything is apart.

Small price to pay for peace of mind.
