some more info on my situation.. my poor gas mileage happened almost immediately after I replaced my ignition coil, cap rotor and plugs. Like I said they use to be.060 inches and now the new plugs are at .040 (factory)
I was going to check for any codes the car might throw....asiandood, how do I get to that two prong connector? i looked and looked but I couldn't find it?
what SHOULD the residue on the o2 sensor look like when I remove it?

it occured to me to check the 02 sensor. I keep a book of every gas fill up I have ever put in my car. last two fillups are 22 and 23 mpg.

MB booster is what goes into the firewall and what controls the brakes. its what the MB cylinder goes into.

im having the same problem. here is a link to the part of the forum where i have had some answers. https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...threadid=34495
I ran a search because I'm having a similar problem with gas mileage.
If you pull off the O2 sensor there will probably be a lot of carbon material on it, much like what you see on the inside of your exhaust tip. If it was giving a bad signal, or was not working properly, your engine light would go on. I ran into this problem when I had a shop install my exhaust. If you do take it off, clean it up, replace, reset ECU, and see what happens.
Other things to check for:
Clogged air filter
Bad spark plug wires
Misfiring spark plugs (this may be caused by the previous suggestion)
Clogged fuel filter (replace this if you haven't done so)
When you replaced the cap and rotor, where did you get the parts from?
