he was refering to the wheels...not the fly, but he is underrating his motor...im sure he will get on a dyno for numbers on paper as soon as he gets it broken it.

Crucial is exactly right... I don't care what my motor makes at the crank cause then it's just depressing to find out how much I lose getting it to the ground...

I really hope your right crucial, I hope I'm underrating it.

I'm at 70 miles right now and just changed the oil again. I'm being super careful with it. I prolly won't change it again until I'm at 500 or so. Then again at 1000.

I think both my inner CV joints are bad.. they don't pop, but whenever I turn right, I get this odd creeking sound. I'm gunna take it down to the tranny shop sometime this week and tell the guy that built my tranny about it. Maybe he fawked something up.

It'll probably be lower than stock gs-r power beings your running lower cr pistons. Unless you have some cams or something.

No cams. My head has been refurbished with all new seals/gaskets, has a 3 angle valve job, port matched on the intake side, and has been decked just a tad.

The cylinders were bored out 0.010 and everything has been balanced (crank, rods w/ pistons, clutch, flywheel, crank pulley). I think that I will have lost a little power from the loss in compression, but it's worth it to me to have less power now and have that much more when the turbo goes on it. :naughty:

i think the gsr manifold is an awesome idea.

it has different runners for the low end, and runners for when you high in the rev range.

the runners for the low end the air moves slower, for the high end they are setup for velocity.

for a production it's a good idea. it was honda's first try at it i believe.
the type r doesn't have a similar manifold manily cause it's setup to make power higher up, and the manifold is only focused on that.

the rsx-s uses a dual stage manifold, so do some h22 and h23's.

coo ****.

btw incase you didn't notice was being sarcastic when i replied to your post also.

you are still a ricer though whom i flamed when you first start posting. :fawk:
Phew, I was going to say ... the intake manifold is nice (to a certain point)

I've been in my friend's 99 EX and it doesn't make that sound when VTEC engages.

I've also been in my buddy's '01 GSR and it makes the same sound as mine... I guess it's just the fact that it's my hybrid and it makes me happy to know that I built something that not a lot of people can and it works well.
