**** makes no sense putting that on a production car.

Well, I spent a whole year learning about how to put the engine in my car and make it run. Now that it's in the car, I'm learning how to drive it and what happens through the RPM range. Understand that I went from an 87 hp, SOHC NONVTEC D15B7 to a fully built 170 +/- hp, DOHC VTEC B18C1... this is a whole new game for me.

I didn't realize that VTEC made a sound through the exhaust when it engaged. I've ridden in my buddy's D16Y8 and never heard what I hear in my motor when VTEC engages...

so, what's the point of secondaries if they're worthless? Do aftermarket intakes utilize secondaries?

Umm..... I'd have to have one heck of a long cable to get a mic somewhere where I could record me driving down the road and hitting VTEC..... see my point?

i was being sarcastic to crucial si's post.

i think the gsr manifold is an awesome idea.

it has different runners for the low end, and runners for when you high in the rev range.

the runners for the low end the air moves slower, for the high end they are setup for velocity.

for a production it's a good idea. it was honda's first try at it i believe.
the type r doesn't have a similar manifold manily cause it's setup to make power higher up, and the manifold is only focused on that.

the rsx-s uses a dual stage manifold, so do some h22 and h23's.

coo ****.

btw incase you didn't notice was being sarcastic when i replied to your post also.

you are still a ricer though whom i flamed when you first start posting. :fawk:

eh...BOV owns vtec
I'd rather have a notec turbo LS on 10 pounds than a fully built ITR or CTR with vtec out the wazoo

Should've heard my car on the dyno in a garage! That sounded wicked! baaahhhhhhBAHHHHHHHHHBAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

For the GS-R impaired that's: small lobe, vtec lobe, secondaries opening
