Default Clunk?

What could be causing this "clunk"? It doesn't happen every time but when I am coming to a stop I can hear a single "clunk" maybe two coming from the pass side wheel area. This clunk has been there for several months.

Within the past 2 weeks I have replaced both outer CV axles and both outer tie rod ends (both were definitely bad and clunking too). Suspension is tight. No reproducible clunking when I drive around in circles both ways or when backing up.

Motor mount maybe? Hopefully not some inner tie rod or something that is a major pain to get out..thanks

Just in case, are you entirely sure it's coming from within the wheel well area? If not, I'd take a look around the glove box and blower motor just to be sure.

What would be clunking around the blower motor?

Because, yeah, I'm not quite sure as to the exact location - it is somewhere in the front right of the car, just not sure where since it is difficult to duplicate except on this one road (flat, no bumps) on the way to work - weird.

thanks

No idea really. I just meant to go push/pull on things to see if anything is loose or if you hear a similar sound while doing so, it's probably a long shot but that's what I'd do.

Obviously it's hard to say since I haven't heard the sound, but there's been times when I thought "wtf was that" at a sound before realizing it was something in my glove box or, this wouldn't apply to your situation, something in the trunk.
Just as an example - Occasionally my car makes a "tick" sound, hard to describe, when I'm pulling into a parking space. Has to be a bump somewhere as I'm approaching it. Sounds as if something might be loose by the glove box, but it's actually the ABS reacting as the inner wheel locks for a millisecond as it comes off the bump.

Thanks...yeah, I had been under there before and realized that my tie rods were completely shot as were my axles - could wobble both of those around with ease.

Only other thing I can think of is my ebay lower tie bar - you know the cheap adjustable silver ones. I can move that around, it is on tight but b/c it is adjustalbe I can still grab it and pull it one way or the other - it just takes a really good pull to do so.

thanks
