rubbing alcohol will take off wax, and may mar the clearcoat if you rub to hard. ive done it b4 h:

Rubbing Alcohol can't be that bad...if you buy any genuine Honda accessory body kit pieces, they say to clean them first with it. Honda wouldn't say that if it was that bad.
