95 civic coupe suspension rebuild
The primary reason for the having Blox adjustable toe arms was not to have to deal with the bushings. The added adjustment is nice, but I doubt we'll run anything more than 0 toe. Tire life is probably more important than any added benefit. Nothing is written in stone so we decide to change it we've got the option.
The face is blurred to keep jihad at a minimum, but the awesomeness is hard to keep in control.

Man i did a full overhaul like this on my civic but with local law enforcement harrassment and thieves, the passion use the potential of the car on a racetrack is gone. Keep us updated, i wanna see this car in action. The setup looks fun.
So even though I haven't updated this thread in some time. I've been working on it.
I bought some upper arm mounts. They were rusted to shit. I couldn't put them on my friends car. I had the parts sandblasted, and painted. While that was going on, I had them put in the poly bushings as well. They look brand new.

I'm about 2-3 hours away from getting all the bushings replaced. The worst I believe is behind me.
More updates soon, promise.

You do powder coating? I need a sub frame done for my Nissan. PM me with ball park figures
Back from the dead.
Goal: Have the car running within a week. Possible? YES.
What has been done? Quite a bit really.
01.) Separated the front knuckles from the front control arms (both upper and lower).
02.) Removed bottom ball joints from the knuckles.
03.) Removed all bushings from the lower control arms. We're using Skunk2 pro upper arms for adjustable camber up front. The upper arm mounting points have poly bushings in them already. Pictured above.
04.) Installed all the bushings in the lower control arms. What a eff'n pain. I must be getting weak in my old age; I used the bench vice to press the poly bushings in. I did mine by hand previously when I did this work on my Civic.
05.) I didn't have the tools to install the roll center adjuster properly, so I took them and the knuckles to a shop to press in. I don't want to eff up $200 ball joints. I should have them back tomorrow. Pictures when they return.
06.) I need to install the Ground Control sleeves to the Koni yellows and separate the top hats from the old setup. Hopefully that goes smoothly tomorrow.
07. ) Going to install new front wheel bearings too.
08.) Replacement axle from raxles.com should arrive on Friday.

Bushings are out. To press the bushings out I had to separate the arms. The arm pictured is the passenger side. Did I put everything back together properly? I'm asking about the back of the arm where the sway bar d bracket bolt to. I'm 99% sure I put it together correctly. I just didn't pay attention when I took everything apart.

New bushings pressed in. I purchased a $4 tub of axle grease. I cake it on the polyurethane when I install them. Works great, and I'm still on my original $4 tub.

New bushings again.

The big mother trucker.

I am excited to see this car run again.

I need the piece in the picture below. It's labeled with a star. Anyone have one they can ship me?

I did all my bushings by hand too, I wonder if I could still do it?
