what air pressure were you running in those tires Tony? I'm going to hit up Muncie on Oct. 5 with the WS6 guy and the guy with the buick (or so he says) He says that buick is fast, but then again that what he said about his bike...

hell muncie is no better, especially if you go on the fast friday nights, u go off a street light impossible to hit a consistent light, and track prep must be a thing of the past with these guys, i ran 14.2 at muncie, and at marion raceway in ohio with the same set up i ran 13.2 at 107, test n tune night might be different, but i doubt it

24x8.7x13 M&H racemasters> DR's.

Ehh, actually, do you know how much torque you're making? Maybe a 23" would work better.

dodging potholes in the right lane is teh suck. Last time I went to test&tune they did prep the track so I'm hoping for the same on the fifth. My options are limited around here.

I haven't made it to the dyno yet so I have no idea. I'm sure slicks would be better but DRs are the best I can do right now. Maybe I'll get some nice slicks and rims around tax season. But right now I just need to beat that WS6

what's the width on those rims? I picked up some 14" steelies to throw DRs on but they're 5.5" wide. I was looking at 215/60R14. The guy at the tire place said they were approved for 6" wide rims but "we could probably squeeze them on 5.5" rims" I'm not so sure I like the idea of making it fit.

i'm pretty sure the ones i have were a 6inch rim with a 225.

you can squeeze the 215's on a 5.5 inch rim.. your going to lower the pressure & bow the shit outa the sidewall anyways! I wouldn't worry about it. Just don't plan on doing any cornering with those tires on there & that much sidewall flex.

lower the pressure, get a good contact patch & light 'em up!

*btw, the new turbo ended up being bad (spitting oil everywhere) & i put my old one back on while they go through the warrenty process with the new one & holy shit did it wake up when i 18psi. I need to go back to the track!

I got them ordered

*so let me see if I got this straight Turbo A takes a shit so you send it out for rebuild and buy turbo B. Car is slower with turbo B and it takes a shit within a month. You get turbo A back and the car is fast again. Is that right? That's messed up but at least you've got it fixed.

very close.. turbo A sat on the work bench as a back up coz i didn't wanna be without the origional one that had a little bit of end play.

Turbo B spit oil from day one, you probably remember the smoke out the exhaust. At least they are going to warenty it.

A is back on there until i get B back, then if all is well with B, i'm going to send A out to get rebuilt.
