i do have the Chiltons manual for the car...which helps a lot but people had step by step instructions with pictures for my GSR...Chiltons doesnt have as many pics.

i think ill go with ordering from here.

i think while im there i might adjust the lifters too.
DOHC wasnt too bad as long as none of the pulleys/cams moved.

Never understood TDC though. I know theres a mark on the cam butu should the mark face straight up towards the sky or angled up with the angeled motor?

The manual you get should explain it for your engine code. For the D16Z6, there is a mark at about 7 o'clock when the Up mark is "up". That mark should line up with a mark on the timing belt back cover (behind the belt). Also, I have a Helms manual in pdf form for 92-95 Civic/del Sol. PM if interested.

ok i have everything from the dealer. everything is on the car. install went well
timing is set

ONLY PROBLEM is the belt is walking it self off when i turn it over manually to check timing?

WHY?!?!

Is the washer on between crank gear and timing cover? I also had a stock cam gear weld break on it and walked a belt off once

yea but when checking timing the cover is off.
I made more tension on the belt and it preeeeeeeeetty much doesnt walk off anymore...well kinda...
gotta look into this more
