Congrats man! Nice to see all your hard work paying off. I remember when you started this project and following it till now. Try preloading your axles to avoid busting them. I was able to run on NAPA axles for quite a while using that technique. Again, congrats!
Thanks a lot josh, it means a lot comming from you. Glad to see your still lurking around these parts once in a while! Hope all is going well.
I've been trying very hard to preload but it's very diffucult with my unsprung clutch. It grabs just a tad and pulls me off the line (red lighting).
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
I had the ACT XT-R6 so I feel your pain. Just don't let the clutch out so far that you are pulling the car. It obviously takes some practice and if you keep at it I'm sure you'll get it. It will also help your 60' times.
All is well, thanks. Just finished some Air Force training in AL and heading to TX again on Saturday for another 3 months... good times.

Hold your e-brake & try to slip the clutch as best you can. Just make sure you don't stall 'cause once the other guy's staged, you won't have long enough to restart it before green.
If you overshoot the staging lights, back all the way up until both go out, and make sure you stage pulling forwards only. I've known a couple of rookie dsmers that blew their rear ends out because they backed into the staging lights after overshooting them and launched without preloading. I don't think you're a rookie, and it's not likely you'll be blowing out any rear ends, but I'm sure the same rules apply to FWDers as well.
