well.. i picked up my tranny tonight.

installed it, drove about 15 miles on it and everything seems to be working good with it.

Only thing thats driving me nuts now is that my AVC-R won't regulate boost for shit.

the LSD is amazing..

the gearing on the otherhand.. idk if i'm really happy with it yet or not. I mean i suppose it's going to be much stronger at the track this way due to me tryin to turn my 24in tires, but around town, which is all the driving i've done with it really.. i drove it to work today and it all seems ok.

only thing that is really bugging me is that my AVC-R won't regulate my damn boost, it's probly somethin stupid, i'm glad i have my boost cut set at 16psi in my map right now coz the wastegate just won't open. I've done a little reading up on it and i'm hoping to have that solved some time tonight.

all in all.. i'm just happy to be able to drive the damn thing again! I'm definatly goin crusin tonight (nice friday night).

Do you have the GSR trans or the B16? For my build im gonna with the B16 cause it has closer gears and still get decent gas milage. I have found the GSR trans to be really long in its gearing.

i've go the GSR tranny, and the gears are really seeming to short for my liking.. but maybe thats just coz i drive a stock 95 dx as a daily driver(extreamly long ass gears).

but i do find my self crusing around town in 5th a lot doin like 35-40mph's

Sht...If you think the GSR has short gears, you would hate the b16 tranny, when I first bought it i did'nt know the gears were so short,i was cruisin at 70,and I'm used to seeing the rev's at 3-3200,when i saw that it was up to 4000,I thought there was something wrong with the car,but found out that it was normal, hope you get everything right with the car man.
