But since it's 2-3 years and anything can happen i was debating on getting it sleeved or not. And yes, his turbo is pricey, to pricey but if i get a chance i'll ask him wth is in that turbo. The turbo might net you 450 safely but the block wont, the g30 garrett handles 170-550 http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...R_700382_3.htm
1489.00$.. let alone other good parts,
i believe for 4k is just for the turbo.

THAT and i would need a d/f ecu like AEM which runs what.. 1200$?
I was stating that 4k for the entire turbo kit was insane.. if your saying that it was just for the turbo now . I've never even seen a turbo that costs that much!

as far as the tuning solution.. i wouldn't spend 1200 on AEM.. i'd prefer 20 bux for a chipping kit & program the ecu my self.. :dunno: but hey.. what ever creams your twinky

Garrett turbo's are expensive little suckers, but they're pretty much the best in my opinion, they last longer and have much less lag. But that turbo is what makes the price 4k heh.

I wouldn't buy a aem either, but the stock ecu isn't that complex, you can only tell it to do so many things. How's chrome?

if you're going to spend that much on a turbo get a pre-fabbed kit from someone with a great reputation for quality and making power. peakboost or full-race both have nice kits.

I have a Garrett Turbo.. it was only $600 Brand new & shipped to my door step.

Don't try and convince anyone that the stock ecu isn't complex enough to run drag cars, it's done on a regular basis. Crome is software that allows you to edit the eprom in the ecu.
