Well.... of course im planning on spending big bucks on this. And kinda have the k series on the top of muh list. I save $$$ like there no tommorrow, i guess im one of the lucky ones that really has their mine set on goals. Anyways

The best thing for me to do before i even touch muh engine is to get a
basic preventative maintainence check right?

Its a vtec i assume, even though it doesnt have the vtec enblem on the value cover. I'm i correct or can you buy them separately? Should i change to a dohc or keep it?

i think you should just park your car in the garage, and sit at your computer for the next couple of months and read EVERYTHING. If you dont know what you are doing you will endup throwing your "big bucks" out on parts that you wont know what to do with. just look up some links here on HAN. First, learn about the differnt types of Honda motors. Then you will know whether to change to the dohc or keep it.
