If it was me i would just paint it flat black and leave the rims alone for now.But thats just my $0.02

 

LOL a fellow purple civic owner!

I had the same color on my civic until I got it sprayed in 99. I wanted the Si blue, but at the time the car wasn't out yet, so I chose a VW porcelain blue metallic. It looked like the best match...

Turns out it is a little darker than the Si blue, but I think it looks great.
Blue with gunmetal rims, only seen one other color scheme like this around me.

Yea i have a purple civic. its ok im not bothered by it. Well i have to replace my half shaft, and maybe my head gasket so my painting project maybe post poned for a lil. plus i just started fitting my f1 fenders up they're a mess so i have to get to some fiberglass, and i have to pick up another hood mine has to many dents to repair from the previous owner. i'll fool around with the dented hood for a little bit.

I am gonna cut it up and fiberglass some stuff with it: any ideas
heres a couple of mine
Ferrari f1 slots on the side w/ or w/o a lowered center
Ferrari gills cut out on the sides
or make it like a turbo hood with a round slot on the bottom passenger side where i could position my air filter

any other thoughts
