Default Color selection for my civic?? Any opinions??

I have a '93 civic ex coupe. Its current color is purple and i would like to change it this spring break. But im having trouble deciding on a color here is what i have come up with so far:

Flat Black
Yellow
White
or a Dark Gunmetal

To give you an idea what my car looks like i have black projector headlights, gloss black type-r front lip, stock side skirts, gloss black rear lip, si taillights, and 18in Motegi MR3 gunmetal rims, which i plan to paint the wheels flat black.
Well thank you for your time, please if you have an opinion i would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hmm.... A lot of shops aren't very good with a color change. I hope you spend enough for them to sand properly, no matter what color you go with.

Dark gunmetal is always nice

id stay away from yellow and white

any variance of gunmetal is nice, either with alittle more flake, or pearl, it always pays to know someone in the field so you can experiment

i hope you do a full changeover, cause different color jambs or bays :barf:

I would probably say Gunmetal as well. I think it would go good with the Gloss Black lip kit.

If this is true, then just sand it down yourself.

Unless you enjoy washing your car weekly or don't mind a dirty car, then don't go with white! My car is white and it's a pain keeping it clean. Don't get me wrong, it does shine real nice when it's clean, but if you don't have the time to devote to cleaning it then I'd say pick another color.

And remember, certain colors will show scratches and water spots easier then others.

But to jump on the bandwagon...I'd say dark gunmetal with a metallic flake

I was going with the gunmetal idea to get a darker look. I am a collision repair technician so im not worried about paying someone to paint my car. i'll be doin the work. also my girlfriend is in the same field but she knows how to airbrush and i was planning on doing my entire car with a scheme last summer but we never had the time. Thanks for your opinions if you have any other ideas on what i should maybe do please fell free to tell me.

Not into airbrushing too much but that's just me. I prefer one solid color and that's it. But to each his own.

Are you gonna paint the engine bay?

Between those options, I think gunmetal would look best. My del sol is gloss black with silver flake and currently has no vinyls/stickers/graphics and looks great. It actually attracts a good amount of attention, even when parked next to cars with crazy (and usually ugly) color schemes/excessive stickers/etc.

I am debating between painting my other car flat black (but I see it everywhere) or white (with a solid white interior). I even considered primer black with a clear coat for a slightly different flat black look.

I like all of those options except yellow. Please, stay away from yellow. I think it looks terrible on any car. Go with gunmetal.
