Any Guesses
I have a jdm b16 II with a v-afc and a brand spanking new cheap ebay turbo, p30 ecu, 550 injectors, 255lbh walbro, b@m fuel pressure regulator and a boost guage. I just got my car running pretty good (didnt have a o2 sensor or exhaust for that matter) when disaster struck. Oh by the way i think i was boosting around 13 psi.(oops) We just got the boost controller working which wouldnt hold the boost very low and it was turned all the way down. I was pushing it hard down I-95 and when i looked at the speedo i noticed i was at 130mph and still moving up. I thought to myself wait a minute the cutoff for this ecu is 120. The car all the sudden cut off so i coasted to the exit ramp and open the hood. Oil was sprayed all over the boost piping and intake manifold, it seemed to me like the oil was coming out of the filter that attaches to the valve cover. When i got it to the shop we took all plugs out and noticed on cylinder 4 the plug was soaked with oil and cylinder 3 was a little damp but the other two looked fine. Im thinking maybe a ring or head gasket. I'm going to take the head off tomarrow after a compression test. Sorry for the essay but tell me what you guys think and i'll try to take some pitcures for yall. I got some other pitcures of my buddies rides i want to put on here, a 240 with a rb26dett with rb25 tranny, a 05 sti, and a ls/vtec 97 hatch.
I told you i didnt have a o2 sensor so no there's no way i had it tuned. But when i first got it running my buddy let me use his s300 and i but a b16greddy map to it and increased fuel by 22% to get it running decently. He took it back and hooked up my p30 and vafc. We drove around for 10 mins and got it running good. But no there was no proffesional tune so go ahead and tell me how stupid i am like i dont already know. p.s. Damn your fund has increased a dollar since the last time i saw it. Maybe i should take all my money out of the stock market and start investing with you hahaha.
You obviusly have NO idea what your doing. Do your self a favor and do a little thing called RESEARCH. Homemadeturbo.com will answer most of your questions. I think you will find boosting your car to be considerbly easier and CHEAPER when you know what the hell your doing.
