once again, i never doubted that you can make a mustang 5.0 fast as hell for little money, i simply disregarded them in my post b/c they are (generally) known to be unreliable and well.. this might be opinion, but many ppl think they are ugly.. all the 5.0's i see around town are dirty, have different colored body parts, rusted out, broken headlights, bad tint job, and look just plain ghetto.. i couldn't picture a 5.0 in a car show, no offense.. but i must you that you have done a good job with your car, i respect your ride totally

:werd: I see nice 5 liters around here all the time. And about them being ugly, I think the '87-'93s are a hell of a lot nicer looking than the '94-'98s. Only recently have the GTs started looking nice again.

Whatever, pay your money to race your stock ass cars. If you wanna get into racing then get into racing. I'm sorry you only make 6.75 an hour. If you can't afford it then get another hobby. a 14 second car is slow no matter what kind of car it is. If your are a serious enthusiast then great. It just burns me to see all these ricers lined up at the track talking **** about this mod and that mod when they run 17 second quarter miles. If you don't like my opinion then fine I could care less. But if you go to the track often and you have a slow car each time, then you are pathetic, plain and simple. I have much respect for the autcross scene but that type of racing takes a serious enthusiast to make civic competitive also.

no crap Redcivic. I just got a raise to $5.95 an hour and haven't been making that much since I began the hobby 4 years ago. Add to that I only work about 20 hrs a week and go to school fulltime. Its damn hard for me to mod my car. and have fun. and pay bills. Don't hate broke people.

redcivic... you just need to shut the hell up. Saying someone should find another hobby simply because they can't afford every goddamn thing because they have a bad job is just plain retarded. Did you buy your car while it was running whatever it does? How long did it take you to mod your cars? I'm fairly certain you didn't just magically come up with 3 grand to swap the engine. You had to work for it. That's what I'm doing, so don't you ever tell me, or anyone else for that matter that they should get out of something that they love simply because they have to work for it.
