I've got a 98 EX Coupe, and i have added the 3 basics, I/H/E. Let me assure you, I can walk, well ok beat any stock 96-98 EX out there. But I think you have to remember Honda engines in general are tuned sweet straight from Honda. If your putting no name crap mods on it you may be slower when your done. I mean I ended up taking my exhaust off because I lost so much torque (backpressure), and granted the D-series engines arent exactly torque monsters..............
But considering I spent under $400 for everything, I'm satisfied with being faster than the usual Civic...............but as most in this forum would agree, you can't ever be fast enough!

Go dyno the car with the I/H/E mods. I've seen it with my own eyes. It may vary from setup to setup...but you are not going to pull more than 3 WHP from bolt on I/H/E mods.
apparently all those "import tuner" magazine articles have proven to work for their sponsors.

Nah I know not to trust everything I read. I do however guarandamntee that i/h/e will provide more than 1 whp throughtout the ENTIRE rpm range. If it didn't why would any body bother? you think its their "butt dyno" and ears deceiving them. I think not.
and yeah magazines advertise the gain as the peak hp for one milisecond with god knows how many other mods.
I'd love to have the money and time to waste to get an entire dyno and install video just to lay you dohc boys to rest.
