um.. it might be cheaper to get a b18c1 or even a b16a2.
i think the c5 would cost a pretty penny over these two (unless u already have the motor)
u also might wanna research ODB compatiblity 93 hatch and a 97 and up B series motor.

ok thanks guys. umm who has sites on all the obd stuff cuz thats about the only thing confusin me. and im a die hard teggy fan so iwanted an itr but why nto do it cheaper and use a type r motor im not using any b16as i have a tendency to blow em up pretty bad. and i fell in love with the b18b and c vtec sound. oh and isit a str8 bolt up to the civic motor mounts.

ya u do make a good point but i only payed 100 bucks a tire.young and dumb i guess. what do u think would be my best set up to run with. like motor and car ?like i wanan take down my budys k20 in his 02 sir civic hatch back. hes so cocky about it cuz he just beat the integra i had soiwananbeat him at hi sown game with a civic . but i m not dishin out the doe for a k20 so lemme no what ya think!

do a B18b turbo in a hatch. u should be able to run him down on the TRACK
it'll be cheaper that getting a B18c5 motor

type-r is worthless modding. you spend the xtra cash to what? a B18c with a b16a style head(and a few aftermarket style internals that you are going to take out). might as well go with a GSR motor, and build that with the cash you saved. you will come out with more power than a type-r. shoot you could even build a B16 with twice the power of a type-r motor for the same price.

(if anyone flames me for my opinion)
yes i can afford a type-r motor but it's noth worth modding since i paid extra to get a motor that's a basically a GSR bottom/B16a top(with a few goodies inside).

ok b18c1 b16 head. what tranny is stonger or just betetr application b16 or b18. what computer will run that head and motor combo. eitehr way ill retune the comp with lets say a super tuners programer or some afetrmarket programmer. now u say this i think b18c1 block, b16 head, tranny?, all internals cuz there no piont in not building the moror while its outta the car . jackson charger, 50 shot, coilovers, bronze 16 or 17s, gutted caged, gmc blue black type r lip kit black hood and 2.5 inch exhausht i think thats about it.i want a clean but sleek looking car. gimem some pointers or oppions
