Car pulls to the right only when accelerating
It doesn't pull when I coast in neutral at any speed nor does it pull at all when I brake. I've gotten an alignment done thinking that would cure it but, still nothing. Anyone got any thoughts?
Has there been any damage to the frame in the past?
Sway bar links?
Too much pos./neg camber?
Tie rod ends?
I dont know man. I have a similar problem, and have been trying to fix it for like a year now-still not as tight as I want it. How much is your car lowered if any? What car?

i had this problem in my car about a week ago except it drifted when i took my foot off the gas. turns out theres 2 nuts infront of the suspendion that holds these rods there and they keep the tire from moving back and forth. well those nuts were worn out so they put new ones on and it fixed it. but it could be something else.
i lowered it about 2 inches about 5 years ago and the camber is fine on it because i did the bolt trick for the rear and got a kit for the front. Alignment says its at a good degree.
The tie rod ends dont look all that bad to me but, what should I be looking for if it is? The boot is fine not leaking.
Dont have a sway bar on the top in the engine bay but, the bolts holding the strut are firmly secure.

Definitions of torque steer on the Web:
A tendancy for a car to turn in a particular direction when power is applied. Torque steer is common in front-drive cars because reaction forces created in the half-shafts can generate uneven steering forces in the front tires.
http://www.clublexus.com/index.php/a...archive/119/78
Condition in some front wheel drive vehicles wherein more torque is applied to one wheel than the other.

Front wheel drive is the most common form of engine/transmission layout used in modern automobiles, where the engine drives the front wheels. Most front wheel drive vehicles today feature transverse engine mounting, though many in prior decades were positioned longitudinally instead. Rear wheel drive was the traditional standard while four wheel drive is also sometimes used. See also FF layout.

What were your alignment settings? It's possible that the tech didn't do it perfect OR you could have uneven air pressures in your tires. Also possible that you had uneven air pressures when you got an alignment now your alignment is off.

before I got it alligned I made sure all tires were evenly pressured. The allignment was off by 2 degrees and he fixed it. That was the origional problem that I thought was happening since it was occuring before the alignemnt. It still continues even after the alignment. It never did it before.
Update ...
I just now noticed this since I had to drive on the freeway recenlty at a high speed but, the car pulls to the right while coasting. Braking is still even in a straight line. This isnt saying that something within the brakes is causing this cause even while braking it still goes in the direction the car is going.
It shows itself strongly when I accelerate from a stop and when Im driving at high speeds.

yes they are aftermarket.
I dont think its the tires at all because I rotate them every 5k miles and it still pulls. The Tires are multi directional so at every 5k I cross the backs to the from and fronts to the back without crossing. Ive had them on the car for 5 years now. They are at a stage where the rubber looks like it is rotting but it still has tred but, a good portion that I would say with my little amount of driving would last me till Janurary.
