Are cops more drawn to pulling over customized civics than other custom cars?

 

eh..... no.... just ones that drive like ass holes

 

I'm always seeing civics being rolled. I never see anyone in a domestic being rolled.

 

I'll probably get flamed for this, but cops notice 'tuners' and the majority of them are Honda Civics anyway.
Doing mods on a car is fine if you plan on going racing on a sanctioned track, but these assholes that mod up their cars with airplane wings on the rear deck, big ass fart can mufflers, neon blue lights everywhere, N-O2 tanks in the back and then go street racing, they deserve all the grief the cops give them.

 

well i was doing the speed limit on I-95 going to new york, it was at about 2:00am and he pulled me over, when i asked him why he first said casue of my exhaust, the next week i went down in a diffrent car ( a minivan) and we were speeding the whole way down we got around the same spot and i saw them sitting behind a 2nd gen teg that they pulled over and he was completely stock......so my conclusion....cops are all assholes (except the good ones theyre cool)

 

You have idiots that street race, fact of the matter is that a good chunk of them have civics, crxs, accords, etc....dont speed and don't bring too much attention to yourself :dunno:

 

yeah but i mean if you were going 10 MPH over the speed limit in a riced up civic or going 10 over in a mini van a cop would think of it differently. he would assume the civic had a 17 year old smartass in it and the mini van was a mom late for soccer practice. so i think it really depends what you driving in those situations.

 

Thats mature, grow the fuck up. If you modify your car, or in some places even own a car thats part of the "tuner" group, your gonna be put into a stereotype that cops have to use because there are more idiots out there then good natured tuners. To say there all just being ass holes just proves your ignorance, there doing there jobs, you dont like it, dont drive like an ass, and dont modify your car, and in some places dont drive the cars that are included in the stereotype. Untill you do all of that, just suck it up

 

Who cares if cops stereotype certain cars you cant go your whole life w/o getting a speeding ticket. ive gotten a speeding ticket in my friends old piece of shit ford festiva...truth of the matter is this, if your speeding and a cop sees you he doesnt car what car ur in.

 

I don't believe a Ford Festiva can even make it over the speed limit. At least not without parts falling off.
