anything that calls attention to a car and gets it noticed will get you pulled over more often that with shiney new wheels ,big wings ,loud music ,flashy paint ,and loud exhaust . I noticed that with my prelude with the exhaust they tend to look more just because they can hear the exhaust. but the accord has a stock one so most of the time they don't look up from what they are doing.

 

Yes, they profile. Get used to it, or keep your car stock and don't drive like a fucktard.

When I was 16, I drove my '67 Camaro. RED AS RED could be. I drove like a grandmother, and cops didn't bother me.

 

I have been pulled over and just harrassed before. I haven't gotten a ticket yet, just a verbal shitting on. some cops will be dicks. Most of the time the driver of the car is in one way or form doing something illegal and the ticket is issued for that.

Cops pull over young guys period. I used to get pulled over a lot when I was in my 20's but now that I'm in my 40's they tend to leave me alone.
As somebody said though. if your car has a lot of "BLING' going on, you will attract attention.

Funniest thing that ever happenned to me was getting pulled over in my 87 Accord (type S) about 2 weeks after I bought it new. It was late on a Sunday night, I was coming home from playing hockey. When cop realized I wasn't drunk or anything he just had to find something to write me up for, so he starts with the "turn on the left turn signal, turn on the right turn signal...etc etc"

When I asked what the hell he was doing he says "just doing a safety inspection to ensure all is functioning" I just looked at him and siad "you do realize this car is only about 2 weeks old? and if none of that shit worked I'd be back at the dealer? so quick pissing around and let me go home to bed"

Guess he was short on his quota that night.
