got a serious question
okay, i got the info today:
scc says that for max street performance in an 1800cc to 2200cc situation you should use:
compressor trim and housing a/r: t04e, 50 trim 0.50 housing
turbine: t31, 76 trim or t350, 76 trim
exhaust housing a/r: t3: 0.63-0.82
strong boost onset: 3500 to 4500 rpm
approximate power potential: 300-420 hp
sounds really close to what you have been telling me. what do you think?
edit: i don't really know if they intend these combinations for a stock, high compression motor, though. i wonder what differences would be present in a 9-1 compression engine as far as lag, onset, and max pressure are concerned...

No stock B/D bottom end will handle 300 hp. You'll have to build it. I'd go with a 9:1 cr. Or maybe a little higher if you're going to have a bad ass standalone system and some wicked tuning. But 9:1 is pretty safe.

I'll have to get out my turbo sheet and double check about that t04e.
