Default Question about CAI

Alright I got a quick question about CAI. My friend said water was bad for it. Yeah yeah I know if it's soaking the water then it's going to mess it up. But what I'm talking about it is just the everyday driving when it rains and is on the roads. I live in a state that rains 3/4 of the year almost. Just want to double check that this isn't going to mess up the engine or anything. Will the splash of the water get into the engine and mess anything up?

Thanks

if you get one of those bypass valves for you should be fine, but i'd still be careful around big puddles.
