Default AEM CAI question

hey i helped my friend out with his intake install today on his integra, i dont know that much about tegs (i drive a lude), but my question is when we took out the air box and resonator so we could fit the intake, theres this open pipe which my friends think is the brake vent, its located near where the front bumper touches the fender at the top, next to the brake fluid stuff. its running open right now, should i worry about that? i know what im saying may be hard to follow, but i dont have any pics . thanks bye

the pipe is kind of like a clear vanilla color and was connected to the resonator.

Not sure what you are talking about but if you say it was connected to the resonator then it's still probably part of the stock intake system. You didn't say which model Integra you had but on GSR's the intake makes a shape of a U and then winds itself back into the engine.

So the path of air is like this.

1. From engine bay
2. Down to resonator
3. Back up to airbox
4. Into engine

So you just leave the part alone and it will be fine.
