I agree completely... they are bad to me because they are HEAVY and big and will make your car noticably slower, and i am trying to go fast... but given you are lookign for 17's for your civic, i will assume that going fast is not your main concern... so given that, i say go with them, who cares... i have not heard any actual evidence that would make me think that they will peel, bend, or crack sooner than any other wheel... white is a ***** to keep clean.. i would give that some thought, but besides all that i say WHY NOT..

They're practiacally identical to Konig Tantrums. The only difference is the spokes on the MR7's are a little shorter than the spokes on the Tantrums. I have Tantrums on my car and my friend has MR7's on hers. Everyone thinks we have the same rims, except hers are white.

Motegi makes knock-off's of popular styles. With *minor* differences. My take, honestly, don't waste your money on wheels that are 'cheap' because they really are 'cheap'... you'll wind up bending them easily and have to keep re-ordering wheels. I highly suggest just saving up a little more money and then buy a QUALITY set, to save you the trouble and money in the long run....from experience....

If you like that style, spend a little extra and get the Tantrums.. I got mine from Whalentire.com for $1,060.77 shipped. That price included the wheels, tires (Kumho Ecsta Supra 712), lug nuts, wheel locks, mounting and balancing. Good price for all that.
