there is more revolution mass so it does slow you down, but you handle much better. i didn't notice a really big difference with my 17's on there compared to stock...

:werd:

also, larger rims give you a higher max. speed and give you better gas milage (I dunno if the gas milage is true, but I heard that)

as for 17's slowing you down, look at it this way: It takes longer for them to turn since there's an extra inch all the way around (from 15's, at least). With that inch comes weight from not only the wheel material, but also more distance for the tire to have to make a rotiation (ie, revolution mass). It's like watching a record spin - the closer to the center, the faster the rotation.

yes that's a good price. They will bend just as quickly as harts or spoons. Your a moron to spend that much money on those expensive wheels...but btw Kumho's Suck and 711's are HORRIBLE!

 18in rims with 35 sized tires are the same diameter as 13in rims with 65 sized tires.

the reason why you will be slower is because metal is heavier then rubber. The more metal that replaces rubber makes it heavier.

h:

true, but how many people ride on 18's with 35 sized tires.

what I said does have some validity :fawk:

I have 17's with 40's h: 16's use 45's and 15's use 50's

I meant 60 with 13's  14's use 55's. This is for Civics...It all varies depending on the car.
