It's so much easier to swap timing belt and stuff when motor's on a pallet.

Ok, I'll rephrase that. Check them first instead of just spending money on parts you might not need.

I guess its good to be precautious but I have always heard nothing but good news from hmotorsonline. In fact, I hear nothing but how good they are and how they never give their purchaser any problems.

its not really that hmotors is bad (cuz they're not) but basically, its better to check over things like the clutch and such before you put the engine in. its so much easier to change out that stuff while the engine is out.

what he said.

I made that mistake. i bought a 97 gsr with 125,xxx miles on it full swap. From a buddy not h motors. I just swapped it in my car without replacing anything. 3 months later. the Pressure plate went bad and the timing belt streched so much that it caused me to bent a valve in the head because the cam gears where 180 degrees off. So i learned my lessing i would replace it while its out of the car.

If you're spending a couple grand on a new engine, I think $150 on new timing belt is a good idea considering that you have no idea how long the engine's been sitting in a junkyard.

Okay. I am going to switch the timing belt because it looks like it needs to be changed anyways. I am going to get the AEM Pulley Kit since it comes with a belt and its around the same price ($145), Spoon Spark plugs, and I don't know which wire set to get (NGK, Nology, Spoon) (http://www.modacar.com/products/Acur...S/wireset.html).
Everything looks like is in perfect working condition.

Anything you purchase for the engine from now on should be an integra GSR part
