so far i have both my turbo and manifold and i havn't spent more than $300 shipped. you just gotta be patient.

 

Word. I proved it's possible to turbo a car with all but 3 parts brand new for 870$ without buying an eBay kit. It's all in patience and meticulous searching. Fabrication skills are also a plus.

 

yep, i have access to a mig welder and i am going to fab my own downpipe and charge pipes.

 

I couldn't weld to save my own ass and the only guy I know that can was way to busy to help me. It also sucks that I'm a machinist but my employer frowns on "government jobs"(making parts for ourselves). Not that it would have done me any good on this project. It looks like I could have saved myself some money but it's too late now so I'm just gonna be happy that I'm boosted and enjoy it. :driving:

 

That's all that matters. Quite a margin of people on here can't say the same.
