my first kit i had about about 1500 into, im affraid to add up what i have spent so far for the new setup.
the ssautocrap turbos, wastegates, piping and ic arent bad. pipe is pipe, thats it. there isnt much to an intercooler or a wastgbate for that matter. the turbos tend to go bad quickly, but ive seen them last 8k before shitting itself. there manifolds are junk and i would never recommend one, ever, ever. there bovs have a tendency to leak as well

I added a brace from the block to the turbo to help reduce stress on the header since I read that was the major problem. I've heard people talk about the turbo seals but I haven't found many who actually had one to varify that. Eh it's cheap and I'm taking a chance. But then again I have really good luck with cheap stuff. Time will be the judge, and I'll leave it at that.

That's really good. I'm always afraid if I try to buy too many individual parts I'll end up spending more. That and I can be impatient. You did get some really good deals.

I take my chances with cheap parts all the time. I always take the cheapest way out and I haven't had a problem with anything on my car yet. Yeap. Everything in the kit is new other than the injectors, manifold and wastegate. The turbo doesn't count because I'm rebuilding it.

I was actually going to get an SSAutocrap turbo manifold before the cast one. Out of the thousands of manifolds they've sold how many have cracked? How many people know numerous people who have owned the manifolds and they have broken? How many people are going on hersay about what other people have to say about the manifolds?

Well, it's the 1st day of spring and it's 29 degrees outside. As soon as that changes to about 50-60 it will be on.

Yeah I've been trying to go by people who have actually had them. They may have some quality issues but I doubt eveything they sell is junk. I even ran across a couple of threads where people were perfectly happy with them.

I didn't do anything to the map sensor. I'm running crome. It needs the pressure readings off the map. If I was running an FMU it would need a check valve between the map and throttle body(aka a missing link). But FMUs kinda suck. The kit came with a missing link and I ebayed that sucker. I live in Warsaw. US 30E till you hit SR 15
