Default Clutch Instrall Problem

Ok, installed a new clutch on the civic (96 civic EX). Everything went well with a few exceptions. Tonight, went to start for the first time, starts fine. Clutch pedal works, moves the clutch fork etc. I can hear it engage / disengage the tranny in neutral. Put it in gear, release the clutch, the car doesn't move. Like i said, i can hear the tranny engage when i release the clutch in neutral (tranny is old...gonna replace eventually).

Somebody pls help. Seems like the clutch must not be releasing all the way...but i could be wrong.

edit: mod, pls fix my subject typo

So when you put it in gear and it doesn't move does it just stall?

Maybe you need to adjust the clutch. It may not be releasing all the way. I've never done this myself though.

That's all I can really think of is adjusting the clutch.
